Murielle Bugera - Economic Development Officer

The Chaboillé Community Development Corporation was created in 1996 by the Rural Municipality of De Salaberry and the Village of St-Pierre-Jolys to focus on the economic development of the region. The CDC's approach is inclusive and for that reason, an intensive consultation process conducted with the assistance of the "Main Street Revitalization Program", led to the development of the following vision statement:
"By the year 2005, the people of the Chaboillé Region will have overcome barriers to work together in a collaborative regional approach. Our efforts will be directed towards the promotion and the growth of the region, be it historical, cultural, natural or economic, all the while protecting and enhancing our environment. We will work together for the benefit of the Chaboillé Region."
